Ghanari AI ("Ghanari", "we") is a Chrome extension and a companion website (ghanari-ai.ir) that record Google Meet calls and turn them into a Persian transcript, meeting minutes, and action items. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you control.
1. What we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name. We use them to create your account and to link your meetings to it. We do not receive your Google password.
Meeting audio. When you press "Start recording", the extension records the audio of the Google Meet tab and, if you allow it, your microphone. Nothing is recorded before you press Start, and nothing is recorded after you press Stop.
Meeting notes. After a recording ends, the audio is uploaded to our server, which produces a transcript, a summary, decisions, and action items. These notes are stored on our server, linked to your account.
Speaker names. While a recording is running, the extension reads participant names shown on the Google Meet page to label who is speaking in the transcript. These names are stored only inside your meeting notes.
Usage information. We log basic events, such as when a recording starts or ends, how long it lasted, when notes are ready, and referral code use. We use this to run the hour-credit system and to improve the product. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
2. How we use your data
- To produce your transcript and notes.
- To show your meetings on the Ghanari website and in the extension.
- To run the free hour-credit and referral system.
- To support you when something goes wrong.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your meeting content to train AI models. We do not show advertising.
3. Processing providers
To produce transcripts and notes we send the meeting audio and the resulting text to specialised speech-recognition and language-model providers that process the data on our behalf, under terms that forbid using your data to train their models. Audio and transcripts are deleted from those providers as soon as processing is complete.
4. Storage and retention
- Audio is kept on our server for up to 3 days so you can play or download it, then deleted automatically. You can turn on "delete audio as soon as notes are ready" in Settings. Audio is also stored temporarily inside your browser until it is uploaded.
- Notes (transcript, summary, decisions, action items, titles) are kept until you delete the meeting.
- Account and usage records are kept while your account exists.
- Our server is a virtual private server hosted in Germany (Hetzner). Data travels over HTTPS.
5. Your controls
- Delete a meeting. From the Ghanari website, deleting a meeting removes its notes and audio.
- Sign out. From the extension popup or the website settings.
- Delete your account and all data. Email us (see below) from the same Google account, and we delete your account, meetings, audio, and usage records within 7 days.
- Export. Your transcript and notes can be copied from the website at any time. Audio can be downloaded while it is retained.
6. Permissions the extension uses
- tabCapture — to record the audio of the Google Meet tab, only after you click the extension.
- offscreen — to run the recorder in the background while the meeting continues.
- storage, unlimitedStorage — to keep the recording on your device until it is uploaded, and to remember your sign-in.
- notifications — to remind you to record and to tell you when notes are ready.
- tabs — to find the Google Meet tab and open the Ghanari website.
- identity — for Google sign-in.
- alarms — for scheduled cleanup of old recordings.
- Access to meet.google.com — to show the reminder banner and read speaker names.
- Access to ghanari-ai.ir — to talk to our server and share your sign-in with the website.
The extension does not read or collect any content from websites other than Google Meet.
7. Recording consent
You are responsible for informing meeting participants and obtaining any consent required by the laws that apply to you before recording a call.
8. Children
Ghanari is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows the last update. Significant changes will also be announced inside the product.

قناری یک افزونه کروم و یک وبسایت همراه (ghanari-ai.ir) است که جلسههای Google Meet شما را ضبط میکند و رونویسی فارسی، صورتجلسه و فهرست اقدامات تحویل میدهد. این صفحه توضیح میدهد چه دادهای جمع میکنیم، چرا، و شما چه کنترلی دارید.
۱. چه دادهای جمع میکنیم
اطلاعات حساب. با ورود با گوگل، ایمیل و نام نمایشی شما را دریافت میکنیم تا حساب شما ساخته شود و جلسهها به آن متصل شوند. رمز عبور گوگل شما را دریافت نمیکنیم.
صدای جلسه. با زدن «شروع ضبط»، افزونه صدای تب Google Meet و در صورت اجازه شما، صدای میکروفونتان را ضبط میکند. پیش از زدن «شروع ضبط» و پس از «پایان ضبط» هیچ چیزی ضبط نمیشود.
یادداشتهای جلسه. پس از پایان ضبط، صدا به سرور ما ارسال میشود و رونویسی، خلاصه، تصمیمها و اقدامات ساخته میشود. این یادداشتها روی سرور ما و متصل به حساب شما نگهداری میشوند.
نام گویندهها. در حین ضبط، افزونه نام شرکتکنندگان را از صفحه Google Meet میخواند تا در رونویسی مشخص شود چه کسی صحبت کرده است. این نامها فقط داخل یادداشتهای همان جلسه ذخیره میشوند.
اطلاعات استفاده. رویدادهای ساده مثل شروع و پایان ضبط، مدت جلسه، آماده شدن یادداشتها و استفاده از کد دعوت ثبت میشود. این اطلاعات برای سیستم اعتبار ساعتی و بهبود محصول استفاده میشود. از ابزارهای تحلیل یا تبلیغات شخص ثالث استفاده نمیکنیم.
۲. دادهها چطور استفاده میشوند
- ساختن رونویسی و یادداشتهای شما.
- نمایش جلسهها در سایت قناری و افزونه.
- اجرای سیستم اعتبار رایگان و دعوت دوستان.
- پشتیبانی وقتی مشکلی پیش میآید.
دادههای شما فروخته نمیشود. محتوای جلسههای شما برای آموزش مدلهای هوش مصنوعی استفاده نمیشود. تبلیغ نشان نمیدهیم.
۳. سرویسهای پردازش
برای ساختن رونویسی و یادداشتها، صدای جلسه و متن حاصل به سرویسهای تخصصی تشخیص گفتار و مدل زبانی فرستاده میشود که از طرف ما و طبق شرایطی که استفاده از دادههای شما برای آموزش مدلهایشان را ممنوع میکند، پردازش را انجام میدهند. صدا و متن بلافاصله پس از پایان پردازش از این سرویسها حذف میشود.
۴. نگهداری دادهها
- صدا حداکثر ۳ روز روی سرور میماند تا بتوانید آن را گوش دهید یا دانلود کنید، سپس خودکار پاک میشود. در تنظیمات میتوانید انتخاب کنید صدا به محض آماده شدن یادداشتها پاک شود. صدا تا زمان ارسال، بهطور موقت در مرورگر شما هم ذخیره میشود.
- یادداشتها (رونویسی، خلاصه، تصمیمها، اقدامات، عنوان) تا وقتی خودتان جلسه را حذف نکنید میمانند.
- اطلاعات حساب و استفاده تا زمانی که حساب شما وجود دارد نگهداری میشود.
- سرور ما یک سرور مجازی در آلمان (Hetzner) است. انتقال دادهها با HTTPS انجام میشود.
۵. کنترل شما
- حذف جلسه. از سایت قناری؛ با حذف جلسه، یادداشتها و صدای آن پاک میشود.
- خروج از حساب. از پنجره افزونه یا تنظیمات سایت.
- حذف حساب و همه دادهها. از همان حساب گوگل به ما ایمیل بزنید؛ حساب، جلسهها، صداها و سوابق استفاده ظرف ۷ روز حذف میشود.
- خروجی. رونویسی و یادداشتها هر زمان از سایت قابل کپی است. صدا تا زمان نگهداری قابل دانلود است.
۶. دسترسیهای افزونه
- tabCapture — ضبط صدای تب Google Meet، فقط پس از کلیک شما روی افزونه.
- offscreen — اجرای ضبطکننده در پسزمینه در طول جلسه.
- storage و unlimitedStorage — نگهداری موقت ضبط روی دستگاه شما تا زمان ارسال، و به خاطر سپردن ورود شما.
- notifications — یادآوری ضبط و اطلاع از آماده شدن یادداشتها.
- tabs — پیدا کردن تب Google Meet و باز کردن سایت قناری.
- identity — ورود با گوگل.
- alarms — پاکسازی زمانبندیشده ضبطهای قدیمی.
- دسترسی به meet.google.com — نمایش بنر یادآوری و خواندن نام گویندهها.
- دسترسی به ghanari-ai.ir — ارتباط با سرور ما و اشتراک ورود با سایت.
افزونه هیچ محتوایی از سایتهای دیگر جز Google Meet نمیخواند.
۷. رضایت برای ضبط
مسئولیت اطلاع دادن به شرکتکنندگان و گرفتن رضایتهای لازم طبق قوانین حاکم بر شما، پیش از ضبط جلسه، با شماست.
۸. کودکان
قناری برای افراد زیر ۱۶ سال طراحی نشده و آگاهانه دادهای از آنها جمع نمیکند.
۹. تغییرات
هر تغییری در این سیاست در همین صفحه منتشر میشود و تاریخ بالای صفحه بهروز میشود. تغییرات مهم داخل محصول هم اعلام میشود.
